Founded in 2015 by David P. Babinski and J. Bennett Grocock, Stonegate Development Company of Florida, LLC focused on developing assisted living and memory care communities in Central Florida.

Its history reflects the founders’ experience in finance, real estate, and development, with an emphasis on thoughtful site selection and purpose-built senior housing.

Founder & Principal

David’s background spans investment advisory, capital raising, real estate syndications, private placements, and co-investment structures, including work with high-net-worth individuals and family offices.

Bennett’s background includes corporate and securities law, real estate syndications, and financing transactions. He founded The Business Law Group in 1991 after serving as a corporate attorney at Holland & Knight.
